What to Bring On a Hike With Your Dog

So you're ready to hike safely and respectfully with your dog... what supplies do you need to bring with you?!
When packing for adventures, it's always best to consider weather, the distance you'll be hiking, and the specific terrain you'll be hiking on. Below is a list of our favorite essential items as well as some extra items you might want to consider depending on the weather and terrain of your hike.
Hiking Essentials:
- Collar or harness, and leash (type will depend on phase of training)
- E-collar & remote (if properly conditioned)
- Water
- Bowl for water
- Treat pouch
- Training treats (or your dog's kibble!)
- Poop bags
- Poop bag pack out bag
- Dog-specific first aid kit
- Emergency rescue harness
